PURPOSE
The
Academic Coordinator will be part of the CEO’s Team
coordinating all academic activities from the management
perspective and support the Principal and the Academic
Staff in implementation of the Academic Model of the
Institute. The Academic Coordinator will have a strong
academic perspective of technical education along with an
understanding of the overall strategic objectives of the
Institute. The role would require representing Management
in Academic Meetings / Discussions, removing
administrative hurdles of the Academic Staff, work with
academic teams / committees for statutory approvals,
oversee the management of student life cycle and promote
research, training and development within the academic
staff.
ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS
-
A
degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
aggregate. MBA qualification will be an added benefit

Excellent
communication and inter-personal skills

Good
knowledge of MS-Office software suite

Ability
to solve problems, take initiative and plan the tasks

Flexibility
with time to work extra hours when the project
requires

Ability
to work in cross functional teams and with senior
academic staff members

Ability
to manage databases, reports, information overload

persistent, positive persuasive nature

Minimum
work experience of 3 years in academics or industry is
