Manager – IT Systems

REPORTS TO

Chief Executive Officer

LINE MANAGES

None. But, will be required to work in cross-functional teams.

PURPOSE and RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Systems Manager will be part of the CEO’s Team coordinating all activities related to the following:

  • Software development and management

  • Network management

  • Hardware maintenance

  • Web development

  • Electronic equipments and facilities

  • IT Training for staff

You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of both PC hardware and new software, general IT problem solving, infrastructure and network maintenance, support of server systems, and IT systems development.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant professional qualification

  • Knowledge in Microsoft products, primarily Windows XP, Server versions and associated products

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent technical communication skills

  • High system orientation

  • Ability to solve problems, take initiative and plan the tasks

  • Flexibility with time to work extra hours when the project requires

  • Ability to work in cross functional teams

  • Willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks and above all, a genuine interest in IT
